does the aluminum drive shaft come with u joints?

I need to replace the u-joints on my car, eveytime i get on the gas or shift they clunk togather. Things start to go south in the drive line when you launch on sticky tires at 5000 rpm spraying a 125 shot.
What is the next weekest link after the drive shaft and u-joints?

a new FRPP DS does come with U joints. To do them on your old DS is not hard.

You really should want your clutch to be the weak link in the driveline. If it isnt, I hope you have a DS strap (check that - I hope you have one period).

I'd suggest just replacing them on the stocker and get yourself a driveshaft loop....that is unless you have the cash to throw around for the aluminum shaft and the loop.

The transmission and clutch.

I agree on the shaft loop. It might also be a good idea to get thenon-greasable joints since they dont have the extra holes in them.

Or if using greasable joints, to index them so their structural integrity is not compromised as much.
