yeah driving in the rain always suck...and we here in the sunshine state do get our fair share during the summertime afternoon showers and storms. It's fun just trying to motivate 315 tires from a standstill without spinning...even with 3.55s. I'm sure more gear would aggravate this, but honestly I avoid driving in the rain. I do trust in my own skills and common sense, but it's the other people I am most worried about. (Most of these FL drivers are crazy, dumb, stupid, ignorant, lazy idiots...and that's when it's dry!)
Just today I had another white knuckle experience. I'm on a 4 lane divided road - As I approached an intersection with a green light, for some unknown reason my (left) lane was stopping, but the outside (right) lane was flowing fine, so when the traffic in that outside lane cleared, I hopped over into that lane. (Note this lane change was completely legal, well before the solid center line)
I quickly discovered what the holdup was. One of our FL idiots decided he needed to turn right at this intersection and decided to stop in the left hand lane and then make his right turn.
I guess he was watching the other traffic but failed to account for those of us who grew tired of waiting behind an idiot who stops in the middle of the road to turn. I hate these jackoffs! I am thankful for anti lock because you instinctively just nail the brake pedal in instances like this.
