Thinking about getting a Corsa. I dont like the price, but I do like the sound and the lack of drone. What if, I were to use the corsa on all future cars I own? They have a good warranty, so I am guessing it will last a while. Might I be able to keep it for years? Has anyone moved aftermarket parts from one vehicle to a newer vehicle?

Chances are unless you move to another 2005-2009 Mustang it won't fit without custom work. Remember this also requires you saving the original exhaust. I think that if you like the sound, then that alone justifies it.

Curious but have you looked into the Bassani's they are very similar in all aspects, but cost about $200 less, I originally looked into the Corsa but heard cars with both and they sounded almost the same, not sure about warentees but the initial blow to the wallet is worth considering...I do like the corsa's though...I bougth my car in May and I am still running my stock exhaust because i just can't pull the trigger on anything yet? I migth just wait for it to be a winter project.

blueskunk- I have only heard bassanis on web clips, and I was not really impressed... Have you seen this article in Mustang Life?

Ford Mustang Exhaust System Buyers Guide - Mustang Life Articles

I think the Basani and Corsa sound totally different. Not to mention, the corsa is both the most quite and nearly the loudest, whether at idle or WOT respectivly. That says a lot. I really could not tell the Basani, from the Borla, from the "other Borlas" like FRPP/Steeda/Roush.

stangdude - I figured as much, but whatever car I own, it will probably have a similiar drivetrain, (unless its electric), and I am thinking the same muffler may work. Anyhow, not too serious a question, just thinking out loud.

thanks for the input.

Yeah when i started looking for an exhaust i was goin by soundclip and youtube, but a mustang show is the best place to do some research, i found...

I am referring to the "Flow through style" there is a shop that i know of the guy swears up and down for corsa (he had one), and Another friend of mine had the bassani, I did not hear the cars side by side but they sounded very, very close, going by memory there wasn't anything that i could pin point as a a difference, as far as "raspy" or "more of a classic" what ever term people try to use to describe it...all i know is that neither car sounded like a ricer or obnoxious (no cats loud), and both made the cars sound like "shread the tires off, a mean V8 sound".

I swear there was a chevy cavillier in the parking lot and when he reved it up i saw it pissing coolent...lol

I had the Bassani axle-back for about a month....too much drone, but sounded nice around town.

I have the Corsa axle-back now and am very pleased with them...no more drone and sound great when you get on it.

So, I am guessing you got rid of the Bassani because you did not like it? Are the Corsas worth the extra cash?

Logic won't go far with this one, it's all a matter of preference.

if i had the money i would buy the corsa's, but spending that kinda of cash on a item that doesn't really provide anything performance wise ...but a different sound doesn't seem all that good of an idea.
