One of my buddies and I installed my H&R SS springs this weekend (everything went relatively smoothly). When all was said and done and we were getting ready to throw away the box that the springs came in and sure enough we found something called a pinion snubber(came with the springs) in there that was suppose to be installed as well. My question is, is this something that I really need to install or something i can live without? (I don't really want have go through this whole process again for item that may not even be necessary).

It helps but You can live w/o it. Its not hard to put on. A simple bolt and nut. Just jack the car up and you can remove the old one.

It's not hard. You don't have to go through the whole process to install just that. The longest part of the whole install will be jacking the car up and taking it back down.

The new one that H&R gave you is shorter than the stock one on your car. Now that you've lowered your car you'll bottom out on the stock snubber much easier. Put the new one on. It's a simple install.

Ok well that's a relilef. Does anyone by anychance have a picture of where the stock snubber is located? Or maybe a mini tutorial of how to replace it?

You don't need a tutorial. See my picture above? See the bracket on the new blue snubber? The old rubber snubber will be on that. Remove that bracket, replace snubber on bracket, reattach bracket. That's it.
