My car is a 1988 with 150k, not sure if the pump was ever replaced. Car is off the road. My problem is it will start just fine cold but after what was 20 minutes ( Now down to 2 or 3) she will stall and it can't be restarted till its stone cold. I replaced the dist. modular, that didn't solve it. I'm thinking its the pump but whats got me questioning it is after its running ( and warmed up till 130 or so) and you rev it to say 2000 rpms it seems perfect but if you let go of the gas it will idle at 800 rpms for a few seconds then stall. If the pumps bad shouldn't it not rev up since your working the pump harder. Any input would really be helpful...P.S the other thing I learned today is New Fog lamps on + headlights on =soon no working headlights due to a broken/shorted turn signal switch.....
