Does X pipe void warranty?

The guage Needles on my stang are way off. Would an O/R X pipe void my warranty besides the stock mid pipe and emissions?

Depends on the dealership and what you are trying to have done under warranty.

Your second sentence is very confusing, can you be more specific about your problem?

it all depends on the dealership i have taken it with all my mods to the dealer where i bought my car and they dont say anything but others will void all warranty.............

Now your problem is with teh needles or something in your cluster need more info

Maybe its just a hunch, but I dont think talking to the EPA about being denied warrenty work over a catless midpipe would work out too well.

EPA = Eviromental Protection Agency.

Catless midpipe = Destruction of mother earth, or something ghey like that.

plus its illegal to remove properly working cats in other words the stock mid pipe that can get you a hefty fine

Umm I am sorry but you didn't read their FAQ correctly. What it does state is this
Q. Will it void my factory warranty?

NO. Some cars even have BORLA systems as the OEM exhaust. All of our street exhaust products are 50-state emissions legal. Our headers are 50-state legal and C.A.R.B. approved. In fact, it is illegal for a dealer to deny you the OE warranty because you have changed the exhaust system.

The dealer can and will deny a warranty if the product caused the failure and it doesnt have converters. In fact some can face up to a 25k fine just for removing properly working cats.

I doubt the EPA is going to help you with modified mid pipes. They are not exactly fond of people going to a aftermarket mid pipe.

If you read the law the manufactuer still has the right to void the warrenty no matter what. Aftermarket parts companies will tell you different but they only tell you one half of the law.

This is how it works in real life.

If Ford wants to void your warrenty for a aftermarket part then they will be able to do so easily. Put it this way I have NEVER seen the customer win in court on this issue.

Yes, but you left out parts of that answer which play a major factor in it like the fact they are referring to street legal exhaust where an o/r x isn't street legal.

what I should have done is read through the whole friggin law about warranties and give the complete info. I was thinking that he would do it himself but since everyone else is giving me so much crap for trying ti help here is the answer-

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C))

This federal law regulates warranties for the protection of consumers.
