Just bought me a Cobra T56 kit! I wanted a Viper spec, but this was on sale so I couldnt pass that one up! It includes tranny, bellhousing, crossmember and driveshaft. I got an aluminum flywheel as well. Now I gotta get some other stuff like clutch, shifter handle, boot, and all that other junk...so it'll follow soon.

im not a good shifter by any means, nor fast, but i dont have too many problems speed shifting mine

I've heard many complain about how their T56, TKO 500 & 600 works but at this point anything is better than my slipping and broken auto. I just want a fun quick street car...though running @ the track has become quite addicting.

And if I REALLY had a bottomless bank account, I'd have a built 302 stroker topped with a KB 2.2L...or just trade for a terminator...or just get e a Ford GT, it never ends lol

i love my tko-600 the only complaint about it is that it is loud. still for as solid as it is you cant complain.

ive never driven a converted t-56 car. my fbod has a t-56 and i love it. its strong...but if i give it too much hell it will snap my weak 7.5 inch rear end. good luck holding your rear end together...although it it much stronger than that little 7.5 inch. id recommend getting a cover. let us know how it goes.
