I have bought a QA1 K member, and had a major issue with the fit. My whole front suspension shifted about 2 inches. I have since bought a PA Racing K member and have no problems at all. I am going to post the pictures of my car with the Qa1 set up so you can see how bad it is, and then I am going to post the e-mail I recieved from Qa1 regaurding the problem. If you are considering buying one of these I would advise strongly against it because they don't support their customers or their products.
Here is a testement to their tech dept.
I just received notification that the quality control department and our engineering staff have looked at the k-member and they have determined that the k-member measures well within the specifications and that it should fit into the car nicely. I also, had them reveiw the pictures that you sent to me via e-mail, and everyone did see how the k-member fit into the car. Our lead engineer, noticed that the right inner fender / frame looks different when compared to the left side of the car. He noticed the primer or different colored paint and thought that the car may have been involved in an accident at some time in the past, and therfore affecting the fit-up of the k-member.
We also compared your k-member to a couple of k-members in our inventory and they all matched up with the same dimensions. So we are confident that your k-member should fit into the car without any issues.
So with that being said the K-member is good. The fitment issue seems to be an issue of the front chassis horns not being square from the firewall forward, even though the body appears to be straight.
