The summit racing catback, IT FITS LIKE CRAP!! I bought it just to run original 40 mufflers and I wish I hadn't now. The first one I received was damaged, the second one I received was slightly damaged, missing parts, and not bent correctly. After 6 hours of trying to get things to work, I finally went to autozone and bought some 2.5"OD pipe w/ turn downs for a temporary solution. I had a third catback on the way, but now Im wondering if I should just return it all and go with the MAC catback.... What do you guys think?

I have always loved the sound of the two chamber flows but with my setup, these things are quiet as hell- there is absolutely no drone .

I know some of you guys told me not to go with the summit catback, and you were all right!

SO- should I keep trying to get this to work, or just go with the MAC catback?

Well, Im replacing the SLP setup because I didnt like the way it sounded and it was WAY too loud.

The flows sound pretty good with the kooks x pipe, it has a unique tone - im sure the flowpaths would sound similar.

if I were you I would just leave the slp catback on and put the 40 series on. That way it will still be stainless steel.

is the flowmaster american thunder catback a 40 series, or a 50 series? My buddy just put those on his cobra with an o/r h, and it isn't nearly as loud as i thought it would be.

original 40s... I will probably going with the MAC setup, because for some crazy reason this setup is quiet as hell! Its dumped right now, due to the tail pipes not fitting, so technically it should be louder now than with tail pipes.

I need to figure out if I can put an H pipe on these headers

www.partshopper.com and enter code: magna454 Should be like $350 shipped.

you will like the regular magnaflow catback. Its quieter than flows and definatly sounds sweet and very deep.

That code didnt work for me ?

And what are you running for exhaust?

Its MAGNACB ... I did a search.... Would this sound best over the MAC setup? I really like deep and loud....nothing high pitched..

never heard a mac catback to be honest with you. I think the mac may be a bit deeper than the magnaflow but im not totally sure...but I know one thing 2 chambered flows are NO WHERE close to as deep as the magnaflows

I have DR gas O/R X and magnaflow catback. The turubos just quieted the exhaust down...didnt really change the tone.

And I used magna454 when I bought mine quite a while back and it was still in use not THAT long ago it seemed. There was an announcment on here about that code and it never listed an experation date. But thanks for the update.. MAGNACB now. ok

If you want to keep your business with StangNet, there are two avenues:

http://www.partshopper.com

http://www.planetmagnaflow.com (strictly Magnaflow)

We do our best to make sure you get what you need, fairly.
