GOTCHA!!! hehe
but hold on i do have a question. how big of a difference would it be if went from my stock 308 gears to some 323's and then to 373's. car is a 95 body with 95 cobra eng, and trans. the rear end is off my wrecked cobra as well.

Six posts +++ WELCOME!

First of all when your talking rear end ratios, a 1/4 of a turn is a change that you barely can tell. So, 3.08 to 3.23 is only a .15 difference. IMHO that would be a big mistake.

In a NA stick Stang, 373's would be the least I would go to. If you are going for a pretty radical NA combo I would go to the 4.10's. At times I kinda wish I had the 4.10's in my car.

Here is a link to a program that lets you plug in various tire sizes, trans ratios, and rear end ratios to see rpm and the like. It is quite helpful.
