Your a pretty much broke teenager living in an apartment and the apartment people ride up in a golf cart and tell you that your car, which you invest a good portion of your money in, is too loud (at idle mind you) and neighbors are complaining.

Damn that cam, supercharger whine, and the borla exhaust w/ longtubes....I even have cats and its still too loud.

On the bright side...the guy in the golf cart did complement the tailpipes I had Sorry about the image quality..only one I have of the tailpipes.

There aren't any ricers in you complex?
There's a crappy 240sx that drives by us, and it's louder and more annoying than my car or my roommate's 4.6 w/o cats.

oh yes, ricers galore...and they have to rev up each time thay pass. gets annoying after a while..

the sad part is I don't even have the halfway decent ricer...I get the wannabe ricers with the civics.

And everytime one comes up to talk to me this is usually how the conversation goes..."Hey, nice car; you got nawwsss in that thing."

lol, that would be funny. I just say, "naw, don't need it...I might spin a muffler bearing if I use a SC and nitrous oxide...make sure u remember that. Having 2 power adders will kill some muffler bearings."

Or..."I won't need it until I downsize to a smaller more technologically advanced and gas mileage friendly engine."

give them something to complain about then.

Every morning sidestep the clutch at 4,000 and leave the complex sideways.

When people complain about anything....I simply say to myself "I'll really give them something to complain about then".....then proceed to sit in front of my neighbor's house with my car at 5,000rpm doing a brakestand while he threatens to call the cops....good.

Tell them to shove it. I have Borlas on mine with no cats and it is not that loud. They are probably hearing some ricer with a fart pipe and think it is you.

I'm with you. Had a guy up the road running open headers at 12:00 one night (work night) through my neighborhood. When I got up at 5am I went to his house, sat in his driveway with the pipes aimed at the house and held it at 5k until lights in the house turned on. Then left... Been 4 years and he hasn't tried that ***** again....
