I want some heads and the twisted wedges are cheaper than the AFRs. SO they say that the max specs to use are 540 and 224. I have 544 and 235. Will a thicker head gasket clear up my issues? Oh yeah, I'm usin 1.7 rockers. WILL IT WORK???

I guess what you mean is the 224 durration at 540 lift max, well that all depends on the valve events. The valves are usually near closed at TDC, and due to the timing of those valves will determine how much lift the cam can have.

you can buy them with upgraded springs for .600" lift as well to be safe
