door jamb wire covers

We're about to install A-1 Electric door locks and power windows in AdamInChains '65. Included with the kit are rubber bellows approximately 4+ inches long. They appear they could be a little short when the door is opened fully. For those of you who have installed power windows/door locks, have these worked ok for you or what did you use?

They are working fine, but make sure you are going from inside the door jamb to inside the door jamb. You are going to need a right angle drill to drill the holes.

i did a power window kit in a street rod a while back that used tubing sort of like lavitory supply lines (straight tubing with a flange on one end) any chance this is what yours uses? if so a trip to your local home depot would score you tubing that is plenty long enough. btw, if you can get a straight shot, you can drill from inside the door, and hit the door jamb all in one shot.
