I tried looking in the search but didn't see everything that I needed. I need the rivet that attaches to the frame of the door for my drivers side door lock actuator. I was replacing my old actuator when the white clip that it sits in snapped in half, so now i have to have a new one riveted to the door. Does anyone know what size/specification it is and if I can get that rivet locally? Is it a common item that I can find at like a hardware store or is it an actual ford part? I have seen it on ebay and late model resto but it is like a 2 dollar part and like 5-8 dollars to ship it. Also, has anyone ever just bolted the actuator to the door frame? Do I even need the rivet?
