I know you may think I an some sort of idiot but I need help removing the door mirror from my 86 gt so that I can replace my beltline weatherstrip aka "Dew Wipe". I have a Haynes manual but it does not give me the detail on the mirror removal from the door. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.:SNSign:

If you have the power mirrors you have to pull the door panel so you can unplug the wiring harness.

I took care of the power mirror problem of having to pull the door panel. I used a trailer type connector (3 pin). This way if I ever want to take the mirrors off to paint again Then it is a lot easier.

Also when you take the two nuts off from the mirror studs, be careful, they can fall down in your door real easy and then you got to look for those lost nuts or get some new ones.
