Hey, I'm new here and just picked up a 91 notch 5.0 for 1800 last nite...car runs great, interior is great.....but the car was recently broken into(before I got it)...and the driver side door won't open from inside or out....and I have no clue of how to at least get the door open to get the panel off and get some work done..needless to say crawling through the pass. side is getting old...any help would be appreiciated

you are going to have to get some kind of upholestry clip puller and dig it under the door panel and pop it off and get to the door handle rods from inside, i bet its a 15cent peice of plastic, thats what it was on my car, get the glass up and out of the way, and fumble around w/ it till its open, than you have space to work w/ it, and connect any rods that popped out, there is a metal tab on the door jam, this slides out when you bend it right, and the door lock comes right out (if the door lock is a problem as well)
good luck

You might be able to get the outside door handle off and get to it that way. You would have to know what you are looking for to do that though.
Well the door handle had been broken off so there isn't one....I will see what I can do..Thanks guys

Remove arm rest and door handle pocket. Then remove window crank. With a flat tipped scew driver, feel your way around the door panel and seperate it from the door with your fingers. Find where the pastic clips go into the door and pop them free with the screw driver. After all palstic clips are free lift the door panel up from the bottom bending it outward slightly.
