i'm ordering a set of the halibrand cobra III next week. i want to run drag radials out back but have a few questions. first how do they work on normal road driving? or corners?? any differnce between the bfg's or nitto's? what if i run nitto's on the front(555) and the bfg's out back? thanks guys

keep in mind i only put about 3000 mi a year on. also would 17" drag radials hook better than 18" if they were both 315/35? side wall should be bigger with the 17's right? i'm not sure i want to run 18's with all the potholes in western pa.

17" inch wheels are the biggest wheels I would go with on your car for drag racing. If your worried about roadracing or streetable use, go with the 18". Remember, the bigger the sidewall, the better the forward grip and worse the turning grip.

Keep them to 17's, traction is much better. Get 10.5's in the rear if you can, 315x35x17 = 4500RPM clutch dump and still no tire spin. :) They are awesome for daily, big difference goin to wide tires though, car pulls your around alot more. They hook great in turns and even do well in rain, i do drive the speed limit though, but never had a problem. 555's up front would be fine either way, but i have no experiance with the bfg's. Heard they last 1/5 the life, but grip even better.
