There is a race this friday in shelton, WA. Last weekend i went and couldent launch over 2,200RPM without spinning badly. My best 60' time was a 2.2 so if anybody can loan me a pair on 4 lug wheels(i will gladly pay and will not do a burnout on the tires) or sell me a pair that would be awesome, i'm in Aberdeen but would drive an hour or two to pick up a pair..also if you know anybody that races sprint cars i would like to buy 2 old front tires off em..for a 15" wheel

Sorry, I am not going to Shelton, but if you can come to Pacific Raceway on Friday or Bremerton for ALL FORD DAY on Saturday, I will bring traction tires on four lug wheels for you to use . Or could sell the Mickey Thompson Drag Radials for $100 (275 - 50's). That's all they're worth. They should get you through the season.

are they ET streets? pics? wheels? how many passes/tread depth compared to stock? Thanks and i will try to figure something out if that's the case, shelton is near bremerton, where are you staying friday night?

Huh? Friday is the BCC cruise and they're going to Shelton. There will be allot of Stangs there I would think.
Also. Jake on SVTP.com has a set of prostars if you're running 5 lug.

yup, 300-500 mustangs in shelton this friday...too bad stock50LX isnt going, i can drive to bremerton afterwards but he wont be there yet

He as many others have a car club race on friday and again on saturday, shelton is the last place you want to be this weekend.

I'll try to remember to bring the short belts, Al. I hope you got the jet extensions in. With this heat, the only chance of a personal best would be late in the evening or on the first couple passes at Bremerton on Saturday.

I am going to predict that only about 30 of those cars actually race. Tell me if I am wrong after the event.

at least 50 of the mustang roundup guys raced, most justa few passes but there were lots of cobra's, 2 of which i beat

Happy to be wrong on that one. That means the organizers will probably try to reenstate a drag racing component to the Roundup activities. The Roundup always coincides with the ALL FORD DAY at Bremerton. You'd think something could be worked out...

hope so..anyway my best time was 14.51 @ 98mph..not so great and the 03-04 cobra's didnt have much grip and bad drivers..plus they were 100% stock. i won almost every race i ran on friday, a total of 27 runs, woot!! i did get my ass handed to me by a 750 GSXR rocket(running 11's) tho

With 98 mph trap speed, you have enough power for high 13's.

naah i really couldent beat the 14.5, it's impossible with my setup. Sure with lots of suspension mods i could get there, but naah, i'll wait for the 400HP! also i got the cam and crank in last night, the cam gear is binding against the thrust plate and the dowel in the cam is too short...otherwise slick as butter
