I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that its a stock edelbrock 1406 that had the electric choke removed. Although I bought it used from a friend who didn't know much about it (he never used it) so im not sure what was done to it, if anything.

no to sound mean but if u want the car to perform take that edelbrock off an put on a holley

How much fuel pressure do you have? It sounds like you are running out of fuel.

so would an upgraded fuel pump be an easier fix then readjusting the float bowls? I did recently replace the fuel pump and it has been acting up ever since.

If you recently replaced the fuel pump and it has been acting up ever since, that would lead me to believe that the fuel pump could be the problem. When you say acting up, what exactly do you mean, is this the same problem or a different one?

Well, every once in a while, the car wont start. It will only turn over, and then after about a minute, it will start, but its not loaded up cause no smoke comes out when it does finally start. So its not getting any fuel for no apparent reason at random intervals.

Its an edelbrock 1406

If only you had said that in the first post and not the 20th. I'm sure many of us, me included, thought you still had the Holley mentioned in other threads.
