if this is a toy, then softer front springs, 90/10 front shocks, underride traction bars, or caltracs are better. what you want is maximum weight transfer to the rear tires, so anything you can do to make the front end come up off the ground(six inches maximum) will be helpful.

I have some rare literature from FORD from 1969. In it, they talk about allowing maximum front-end rise (90/10 shocks, unhook sway bar), and least abount of drag (drum brakes), and out back, of course, hooking it up. From personal experience, the underrides do plant the rear hard, and pull the nose right up. "Slapper" bars tend to lift the entire car, and do allow for some wheel spin. If the car will see alot of track use, beef up all the suspension mounting points, re-do the drivehsaft, anf be ready to break stuff!

Thinking about getting new drums and brakes and calling it a day. Have a complete granada setup except for the rotors. Don't like the drag of disc, and the car foot brakes much harder with all 4 drums.
