I went to put on a set of 15x8 draglites with 5.5 bs on my car yesterday and they look really sweet with the nitto DR's that came on them, but they dont fit.The tires are rubbing on the brake lines. That could be a problem. Is there anything i could do about that. Also the stock axle studs are not long enough. Do i need longer axle studs now?Is this normal?

You have to have the specific Draglite mag wheel style nut and washer, and it will fit on stock lugs. My car has stock lugs and it works with my Draglites.

I assume you are talking about the front brakelines. Perhaps spacers, or just move the brakelines. I have the skinnies on front, no problem. The 5.5 in bs is usually used on the rear.

The brake lines are the rear brake lines that are rubbing. Not sure why.

don't put longer studs on. Drag lites use a shank type lug nut. It goes down into the rims lug holes.

I run 15x10 weld drag lites.
I'm trying to attach a pic.
I had to roll the wheel wells alittle but you can't tell anything has been done to the wells.

Re routed the brake lines the same time I mounted my fuel pumps for my engine and NOS system.

I know it's a crappy pic but it shows it can be done.

Long studs would be a GREAT idea -- in fact, if you want to get technical they're required for racing with those rims. You can go without, but as mentioned, you need to make sure you have the appropriate lugs. They are the long shank (1.3??").

I assume we are talking about arking brake lines for rubbing -- which is strange, as I didn't rub on them until I went with a 15x10 rim, 6.5" BS, and a 11.5" tire. I would check the routing and make sure they are in the right spot.

I have those same wheels on my 90 GT. Fit fine. Only brake lines that might be rubbing must be the parking brake. Just move them and zip tie them out of the way.
