I'm gonna flush my cooling system.
The directions say to not only drain the raditor (duh), but to also drain the engine block by removing a hex bolt from somewhere near the oil pan.

I can't find the damn thing.
Where is it?

Drivers side, just in front of the tranny. I put my temp sending unit in it's place.

Haynes says there is one on each side, about 1 to 2 inches above the oil pan rail. There is a pic in their repair manual, but honestly, it doesn't really show where they are relative to anything else under there.

Is that from underneath the car?
or can I get to it from under the hood?

Better get out teh jack.

Also, it's a little difficult to get a wrench on it.
