Well my dream engine is to have a 347 Twin Turbo, and i want to get AFR heads but i don't know what size. And how much more work is it going to take to get the power to the road? Like what are all the little things i might be overlooking?

When you say power to the road, I guess you mean streetable? Would the car have to pass emissions? If so, you would be limited to the 185 head. If not, you could use the 225. With a 225 head, the right sized cam, and TTs you could easily see 1000 horsepower. I would guess that you could see it with less than 15 pounds of boost, too. Getting the power to the ground is going to take much more. 31 spline (minimum) with a spool and slicks would be your first step. Control arms, subframe connectors, and shocks/struts would get you there. Your best bet may even be to convert to a half-back chassis. I don't know how that would behave on the road though.

My dream engine is a 427 with TT, and a kenne bell supercharger strapped on top somehow with all forged internals, best flowing heads it can get, and a cam that will make the whole car shake at idle.

What kind of cam would you recommend for the 185's, cause i have to pass emissions.

Forget about the heads for now, are you saving up anything in the budget for an FRPP R302 or DART Iron Eagle block. Your gonna need one of those to get started anyways. Also, if I were you I would go with a single turbo. Its just simpler and if you get a good one you dont have to worry about lag. On the other hand if you do have lag youll have plenty of torque to make up for it. So dont waste time and money getting two of everything when you only need one. Also I know someone wit a 1000 hp street driven mustang and he spent about 60 grand on his 84 to get where he is, so it gets pricey.

Then again I also know someone with a unknown hp 11.4 ET (stock suspension except BBK lowering springs and slicks) turbo sn95. He did his setup for pretty cheap himself in the garage. But With a trickflow track heat setup and an turbo he ran into some problems with the production shortblock. He is currently rebuilding that right now. For you application not even a B50 block doesnt sound like enough.

I've already got mine planned out. Gonna cost me $15k, and I'll probably change my mind (several times) before I do it.

I'd like to do a nasty N/A 347 build up when I get out of college. With some FTI AFR 205's, FTI ported RPM II intake, FTI cam.

My dream motor...hmm. I could take this many different ways.

333 CI
14:1 compression
Blue Thunder heads
Super Spyder intake manifold
Huge cam
400-600 shot of 2-step nitrous.

Somewhere around 1300 horsepower. Or....

555 CI
20:1
Prostock heads
Custom manifold
Something like a 1.350/1.150, 290/310 Duration @ 0.050 cam

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1600 horsepower.
