drilled/slotted discs on ebay whatcha think

well since you didnt post a link to the product, i am going to assume that it is a generic brand which most likely is cheaply made metal rotors that were drilled by some dopefiend in the basement of a crackhouse. In all honesty i wouldnt waste the money becuase: most cheap rotors are not strong enough to be drilled or slotted....which can lead to cracking and many other problems. Just my two pennies

Nice analogy 976 LOL, sorry about not having a link I'm not that good with these things. A couple of places in cali have them they all look the same, staggered 1 line of holes 1 slot spaced kinda far apart and not to close to the edges I think they would hold up for a while. or would you guys be mora apt to trying just slotted rotors?

Dimple drilled/ slotted is what I have and they are not going to crack. Dimple drilled rotors are not drilled all the way through and they are more for show than anything else.

I have drilled and slotted rotors from ebay, and when I got them they had to be turned before I could install em. They work fine tho, but ive only had them a couple months, but I see no signs of cracking, but dont expect much more braking power.

i just installed my slotted rotors from ebay. they didnt need to be turned at all (happens with the cheapy ones sometimes). i stayed away from cross drilled cause ive heard the possibility of cracking. just another risk i dont need and with the stupid gt rotors anyway being so small, its kinda pointless. maybe if i upgrade to cobra (or steal them off of my friends car :) ) then ill get nicer ones. make sure you get new pads when installing them too

My big bitch about these brakes is after one big stop from 80 or so they are gone until they cool down. The other day I took the car up to 125 and I knew the brakes suck so between agressive down shifting and braking I brought it to a halt. I pulled into my buddies drive and hung out for a while(1/2hr) and when I came back out and touched the wheels they were damn near hot to the touch and now I notice my rotors look kinda blued like chrome pipes on a harley.
