Are all Ford Drive By wire throttle bodies interchangeable? or are they programmed to be used with certain PCMs?

Meaning, are the F150, Mustang GT, GT500, throttle bodies able to be swapped? I understand mounting these different throttle bodies takes some fabrication. I am concerned about the PCM.

The drive by wire is technically the same on these vehicles. However, to put a mustang TB on an f150 takes LOTS of tuning and dyno time.

What is the swap you are looking to make? On the S197 cars the throttle body isn't worth replacing until you are running a lot of boost. The throttle body is fine up to power levels higher than the bottom end of the motor can take.
