Drive Line Vibration

I've got an 03 GT auto and recently I noticed a drive line vibration when around 35-40 MPH. Could this be a driveshaft or torque converter? The D/S and yokes feel OK. Any advise on how to check this out would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

More than likely it is a tire, or brake issue. More info on the car is really needed to know what you're dealing with. I gather that it is an 03, auto, and a Mustang, otherwise whatcha got?? Mods? Previous routine maintenance done? Previous problems?

Benny's right. If I had to guess with minimum info, I'd guess it was a tire problem. Either not balanced correctly, weight fell off, or the tire pressure is way off.

Check your trans mount just incase.

Thanks for feedback guys but I can say without any doubt that it's not tires, wheels, weights, air pressure, balancing, brakes, rotors, or anything else you have in mind. It's in the driveline and only occurs in acceleration at lower speed 35-40 MPH.

If you're not hearing any gear whine, then try marking where your pinion flange bolts to the driveshaft for reference, then unbolt it and rotate it one hole over, bolt it back together, and try it. You might have to try it a couple times, but if you're sure it's not in the wheels, brakes, etc. then try this. If you go through all of the driveshaft positions and the vibration is still there, then it could be an out of balance flywheel or harmonic dampener.

ive heard that you can take a hose/worm clamp and put it by where the weight is. drive it and keep moving the worm part till its better to prove that its a driveline shutter...

i dunno if its true or not
