Drive Shaft Length

I have a 66 fastback with a borg warner world class tranny and a 9" rear. Does anyone know off the top of the head what length of aluminum drive shaft I should order. I'm also open to suggestion as to where to go to purchase one.

There are so many varitions that the best bet is that you should bolt on everything and measure the distance then order.

Here is a link to Inland Empire Driveline Service. We have had them make several aluminum shafts for cars. They do excellent work. The page I am linking also shows how to measure for the correct shaft length

I just ordered an aluminum drive shaft from mustangsplus.com. They are made at Empire driveline. Just call them to make your order and they know all the measurements you need. Mine is a 66 coupe and it was 51 inches. But like I said those guys know all of what you need. It only cost around 400 bucks with shipping.
