Drive shaft seal leak (on rear of trans)????

I was replacing my clutch on my 00 GT, and the trans was real dirty, but just the back of it. Their was some old trans fluid gunked on the bracket that holds the rear O2 wires up, which is right below where the drive shaft yoke slides into the trans. Should I replace this? Do I need a special puller to get the old seal out, or a special press to press the new one in? Where is the best place to get this seal? Is drive shaft seal the proper name?

Any help is appreciated.

Here you can see the rear seal I am talking about, the entire back of the trans (from about the shifter back) was dirty, but I cleaned it up. I don't think it is the shifter leaking.

its just the rear output seal it looks like. not too hard of a fix. costs ~$90

The seal is about $10. Just gotta remove the Driveshaft to fit it. Easy fit to do no special tools required.

where were you able to get the seal for $10??? when i had to replace mine, the cheapest i found it was $60!!!

Sorry, i was going by the price of the seal for the T-5. I beleive i paid $9.xx for a rear seal.

I assumed the T-45 would be a similar price.

street stang- you sure it costs 90???

seems like a lot of money for a seal, did you replace yours yourself?
