I found a piece of cast piston skirt in my oil pan. I suspect this is the cause of my vibration. After a test drive, the Alignment shop wants to service my driveshaft.

I put the car in neutral while moving and I feel NO vibration, only when the engine is engauged do I feel the vibration...

What do you think? Engine or driveline?

Have you done any work to it recently that might be related like engine swap or tranny replacement etc? I just solved a bad engine vibration which was introduced during my driveline upgrade (engine and tranny). Turned out to be a poorly made flywheel.

One broken piston skirt won't cause a vibration problem you can feel. Run it as it is. Seen lots of them over the years with more than one skirt missing and you couldn't tell from driving them they were in the oil pan. This was a common problem with the stock cast pistons as well as the early Boss 302 forged ones.
