talked to a mechanic friend in denver last night about the whole thing (if its got an engine and wheels this guy has the answer) he says because i was not able to use the exhaust hanger plate as with the T5 the 3550 is sitting lower and ive read elsewhere that the tailshaft area is lower on the 3550 than the T5 these two elements along with the car being lowered have the alignment screwed. so what happens is the uni is tipping forward and backward creating the bad vibes. the above diagrams are what your shooting for, but since i don't have a flat area garage or drive its still going to the shop ill let you know how it turns out
