My driver's side door lock actuator is not getting power. Also my cruise control is not working. Is there any way these problems could correlate to each other? All fuses are fine both inside the car and under the hood.

My car is supposed to have remote keyless entry and antitheft. I found the place in the left rear of the car in the trunk where that's all located at but one or the other is missing and the other is possibly broken. Heck they may both be there and broken. I can't tell 'cause I don't know what I"m looking at. Just a bunch of circuit boards duct taped together thanks to the jacknut previous owner (that I just bought the car from)............argh!! don't get me started on that punk. What do you think? Could this be the cause of the problem? Could someone possibly take some good pictures of what this setup actually looks like back there so I know what I have and what needs to maybe be replaced? Anyway to find out if that thing even still works?

Any idea to at least get power to the door lock actuator?

Yeah my car does not have anything like that and I have completely removed the trunk trim several times. I would say that could be the problem.

Also, the wires that go to the door through the rubber sleeve get flexed every time the door opens and closes, so a frayed wire there could be the door lock actuator issue.

Sounds like you may need to take it to a shop man...
