So, I was thinking about my abs light as I left the parking garage and while putting up my window it acted as if it just fell off the track. I was like Greaaat!

I took the door apart which was very easy (ty ford) and found a piece of heavy sound deadener that fell down on one side causing the window to bind at the bottom of its travel. I pulled the other corner down and removed the deadener - problem solved.

Could be worse...VW Golf, Jetta and New Beetle windows would just fall into the door. I guess making a window go up and down is something new for these auto manufacturers.

As far as the door panel, you have to take the interior pull handle/switch bezel thingy off and there are 2 phillips head screws in there. Next you have a push pin on the edge of the panel facing the door hinges. After that you should be able to lift it up and towards you. :nice:
