driveshaft differences?

looking to swap my 5.0 out of my 86 to a 4.6 and was wondering the difference between the two. ive got an aluminum driveshaft for my 5.0 and was wondering if it could be reused some how? thanks in advance for the help.

i have a ford book that it says that a tko tranny can be used in a 94-95 car but u have to add .625. i have a friend that he is in love and his phone dont work when he is in love. i know he had a 96 mustang and he used the 5.0 drive shaft but he had to change out the drive shaft yoke to a 31 spline yoke
