My driveshaft is too short. My car is a 1995 Mustang, it had a 3.8 V6 with the AODE trans.. it now has a 5.0 with an AOD trans. The driveshaft is about 1.5-2" shorter then i'd like it to be - the yoke isn't gripping very much of the output shaft. What driveshaft do I need to be the proper length? One out of a fox body with the AOD, right?

One from a Fox may still be too short. Your best bet is to find one that's specific to our years.
Well, on our years, was the V6 shaft shorter then the V8 shaft? Because if not.. I HAVE the one thats specific to our years, and it's too short. I believe the output housing of the AODE that was in the SN95's is longer then that of the AOD.. so the stock one that i have on there right now is too short..
