i bought a pair of used mac longtubes with a brand new mid pipe for $380 shipped. the longtubes were way more rusted than they looked on the pic, so i had them sandblasted and threw some header paint on them.(prolly wont last but o well)
i got a couple little projects goin on so i got some random pics
this morning using the fnsweet guide i jus started tearin my car apart by myself.

that would be my dads car. it has full race suspension, a detroit locker with 4.11 gears and and roll cage. then he lost interest so its one mean sounding and looking 225 hp fox

the sfc's......... theres no level ground where i live, so this guy i work with his son has an auto class at school. so i dropped the car off for them to weld it on and it got bolted on and tacked but there welder broke down. so now i have to wait for my dad to come finish the job.

hey man let me know how much more of a difference those long tubes make. I have heard from other people that longtubes dont do much on a kenne bell car. I just wanna know if thats true or not before i go spending 800 dollars on slp longtubes lol.

your brave to do that in the driveway lol. I have access to a shop with a lift on quantico.

Should? You should take the pan off, clean it, drill a hole, the tig weld the sensor in the flat corner so that you're measuring the fluid that the trans is picking up and using. That's what I did. But it may not be worth it for you.
Most put a T fitting in the return like from the cooler to see how much its cooled.
If you do it in the line to the cooler you get a better idea of how hot the fluid's getting that your trans is using but it'll look artificially high (hottest the fluid gets) and vary greatly as soon as you get on the trans for awhile. The return makes it look artificially low and measures the temp of the coolest the fluid will ever be, even after the route back as its dumped into the pan it warms up before use as it mixes with the pan fluid.

:OT: i know but real quick question. Does Quantico charge to use thier shop? Camp lejeune does, and that sucks ball.

I didn't even notice you live in Warren. I work in Warren. Dude....today was nuts. It was snowing like crazy. I took my car to work and I was kinda pist. Then the sun came out and everything cleared up nice...still a little chilly...but nice.

DOOOOOO IT!!!! its honestly not that bad. if u have ever done a brake job, changed shocks and struts, combine those and add a few steps.
