My first Mustang actually came with Goodyear snow tires...don't recall which version they were, but i could drive that thing anywhere. Of course, it was just a stock 5.0 5 speed, but i drove it in snow so deep that the front bumper scraped through the snow like a plow. It was fun as hell but you had to be careful going up hills or you'd get stuck quick.

My AWD 3.0L V6 AWD Fusion was hitting around 670Kms to a tank driving it hard. I loved it and would not hesitate to buy one. My only complaint was the lack of shift control as it only has an L(1-3) and D(4-6). If they could get some sort of "auto-stick" in there the car would be perfect.

I've been stuck with Mustang plenty of times because I didn't want to put it away before the snow fell. I had a really close call at the car wash one day as the temp had dropped and the parking lot was a skating rink. Glad to hear you got it back inside where it belongs.

Yea, I hear the V6s are really fun to drive, and pretty quick, too. I love the dual exhaust, those cars actually look pretty mean for a sedan. Unfortunately I never test drove a V6, because I knew I wanted the 4 right off the bat. The Stang is my go fast toy, I don't need another... Well maybe, but it won't be my DD.

I don't mind that I have a AT, I like to drink coffee while I cruise, haha. Some sort of select-shift automatic option would be really cool for when I was feeling ornery.

Well, we had a 64th of an inch of snow already. I think it was 4 minutes worth. Seriously, I'm going to the North West part of Maryland for work in a month. I'll get some snow, but will only be taking my Civic.

I love driving in snow when there's not a lot of cars around. I can handle it, i just don't trust other people not to lose control and hit me.

It just snowed a good inch here in Chicago and streets weren't plowed. I was able to jam on the brakes going 10 miles per hour and the blizzak ws-50s grabbed. Unbelievable. I just needed to post again cause these tires are amazing. What's cool is that if you push them just right they'll slide.

Anyway, anybody use any good underbody sealer?

I used to drive my fox in the snow, with narrow decent tires the 5.0 was fine (the 4cyl sucked something terrible). Now if anything it gets moved around in the driveway. Flat ground it rarely has an issue so long as the snow isn't too high. If it's high, the car can't push itself through it. Hills I wont even try without good tires and weight out back.

The Audi is fine though .
