well the passenger header clears the x brace but the driver side doesnt clear so Iam going to have to cut and weld it some to make it work but itll take time, has anybody had any driving problems since they removed it, my cars a lowered 95 gt vert with no subframes should i be worried about anything?

imo, our verts need all the help they can get in the stiffening department. i'd do what i could to keep it if i were you.

i'd also put subframes on my list

i ran with no strut tower brace for probably a year (the stock one didn't clear my street heat) and i was amazed at how much better the ride was after i got one and put it on.

after a while i started to feel like i didn't really want to drive my car because of the way it rode. now my main focus is on making it a car i want to drive again. a big part of that is making it handle well on the road.

Wow. I did not know this. I am going to get one that clears mine as well.

with the street heat i ran for about a year before i got a stb that fit. it felt much tighter after putting in the stb.

then i went to the kb and had to lose the stb again i also went to the coil-overs

i am sure the towers were flexxing because after i took the kb out and back to n/a, i went to put the stb back on and i couldn't get some of the bolt holes in the towers to line up with the holes in the brace. they were too far apart. i believe the coil-overs put more stress on the towers and caused them to seperate a little.
