Drop spindles

I’m not offering anything for sale, just posing a hypothetical question. Would drop front disc brake spindles be of interest for application to 64-73 Mustangs or other Falcon chassis Fords? These would have correct mounting geometry along with correct ball joint and tie rod hole size. Any problems come to mind? Suggestions? I may have some cast.

there are many people that would be intersted in these i would think, there also some that beleive a drop spindle with improved geometry would be the possibel suspension mod for the early stangs. i'm not sure what exactly the geometry improvements would entail but there are a few threads about it at www.cornercarvers.com you might want to check a few of them out over there

I think you meant www.corner-carvers.com The hyphon makes all the difference.

How about a shorter distance to the tie rod mount. It would make rack conversion much easier.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but some big hot rod spindle company already offers 2" drop spindles for '64-'73 Mustangs... is it Fatman??? I can't recall, but I remember seeing an add for them in Rodder magazine last year. I'll see if I can dig up an issue sitting around this evening.

Fatman is the one who is offering them, but there was another thread here where someone put them on and had all kinds of clearance issues. That's all I can remember.

Are these spindles on the fatmanfab website? I can't find them. All I can find is Mustang II and Camaro, old truck, etc.
