Dropping transmission questions

I'm replacing my clutch this weekend.
When pulling the tranny, do I unbolt the transmission from the bellhousing or just unbolt the bell housing and remove all at once?

You can take it all out at once. It might be a little easier to take them apart and bolt the bellhousing up first when u put it back in.That way u don't have to wrestle w/ the whole transmission tryiny to get the bellhousing to line up

personally i think it is easier to pulled them separetly (trans than Bell house) plus its less weight to wrestle around under the car.

I don't remember being able to get the top bolts when doing them seperate. I would just do the trans and bellhousing all at once. Seems like it would be more work even if you could get the top bolts...
