Drove though water, now motor is locked hard...

Well I inspected the oil that my brother drained out and it was about 50/50 water and oil. The water was sitting under the oil, DOU... I took the main caps off and guess what, every main bearing is spun right to the crank and 3 of the rod bearings. I don't think it got messes up from hydro locking I think just the water in the pan got sucked up by the pickup and pumped through the motor. As far as I can move the pistons, with the crank not turning, they all seem to go up and down nice and easy. I think just the bearings went... I hope just the bearings went. If we still have to replace the shortblock will another 4.6l from an auto car have the same crank snout? Also the motor is a SOHC are the heads and intake compatible with any 4.6l short block. I spent 15 hours a piece porting the stock heads I hope there not wasted... I'll post back later to let you know what more I've found out. Thanks, puTTs.
