While browsing around the internet doing some "window shopping", I saw that Edelbrock makes a dual carb setup for a 289/302 motor. My first thought was, "that would look cool...", but wouldn't it be way too much carb? Can anyone explain what kind of setup you'd have to have for a 289 to really make good use of 2 carbs?
(For the record, I'm not really looking into buying this, I was just curious...

I'm running just such a setup now on my 331 stroker in my 89 Ranger. The sound of those 3 250's at WOT is awesome. Performance is also, far better than a single carb. The WOW factor is also. Mustangs Unlimited also sells the repop Ford 2x4 setup too with either two 390's or 450's(Holley's) for $100 less.
