ok heres the deal. my car came prewired and the mach 460 system was gutted. right now ive checked myself and this is wut i have noticed so far: the door speakers are pioneers, the rear speaker deck is gone replaced by two bloupunkt speakers, and the bass on my car is gone. wut i think is that the last owner had some subs in the back and he had the bass coming from there cuz the only place i get bass is the tweeters!! i mean the stereo gets pretty loud but there aint no bass!! so, im fixin on getin sum subs but im limited financially. the question is wut is up with my system and if these r any good subs (price, brand, performance). http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1069299397134&skuId=6221064&type=product

I would tend to stay away from a prefabbed bandpass box like that. They typically aren't very good quality. If $150 is your max budget, it's going to be a little hard to get what you want (keep in mind that even if you got the box in your link, you'd still need an amp as well).

If you need to keep the cost down, I would say to go with a single sub in a sealed box. A Mustang's interior is small enough that 1 sub is usually plenty. A sealed box is easy enough to build, and you'd probably do better than if you just went out and bought one anyway. Cheaper too. You could probably find a used amp as well that if you had to.

Be afraid of that prefab stuff...be very very afraid.

Might I suggest a JBL 600.1 and two IDQ 12s?

That should be around 300 bucks and it would slam.

Or if you just want some bass...get the 600.1 and one 12.
