Dumb Ricers

No, that sentra ran 18.2 at its fastest, but the truck was only in the mid-high 17's.

The funny thing is that he is not a ricer. He's all American. His mom bought him that car for $100 until he gets his new car (Mustang, Camaro, he hasnt decided yet). It looks like someone got murdered inside that car.
Anywho, he hates that thing worth a darn, and we laugh when we see stupid people in the same looking car trying to be gangsta!

Add a black hood and some lighted windshield washer nipples and it would fit right in town here. It is pretty bad in my town...

Ummmm.....yeah. That Camaro is going to be pretty nasty. Stock Mustangs won't have a chance without some modifications.

I heard some of the chevy guys here talking about a mustang with a 427  A guy told me he saw a newer stang with 427 badging at some cruise and that ford might be using them when the new Camaros come out. Any truth to any of this? Challenger,Mustang,Camaro.....let the new muscle car war begin!

i cant wait! Yeah, i was wondering why the mustang hadnt even come out with the cobra or mach 1 yet. Then i realised that they're probably waiting to unleash all the cool models when the camaro comes out.

I believe it is Roush that has a 427R or something along those lines... NOT a 427 inch motor, but 427 hp, which is how most new cars seem to be badged.

I still say they should have done an LX V8 option with no AC, no leather just bare-bones V8 Mustang that's cheaper than the GT and maybe de-tuned from factory to be slower but once in the hands of someone with a computer tuner "thing" it can kick a GT's butt...

It would have been sexy  In spirit of the fox body LX coupe. But people want their 300hp Mustangs to have big powered leather seats, soft riding suspension, quiet as a Lincoln interior and such... Mustang fans are getting older?

That and Mustang guys who want this, usually don't go out and buy new cars. My brother got an ordered 06 GT with all the options minus the Shaker1000 for $26,000 out the door. He had intentions of making it run hard, and then got our 86 together with my dad's GT40P motor, and has way more fun in that. He plans to toss an SC on the 06, and some other small things, but not race it for a while. A stripper LX would be nice, but I dont see them selling very well. Hell most of the V6s I see have the pnoy package, which is kind of the opposite you guys want...

They are knee deep into that Kiazen and Six Sigma garbage that it actually ends up being More Expensive to produce a bare bones car. For example, very few cars today have roll up windows because the door panels and some other parts are different and it changes the way it goes down the assembly line. They pretty much try to do all the cars the same except for a few minor changes to keep productions costs down.
