Quick question...

The other night I was changing the cold air intake filter on my 2000 GT ... When I put everything back together I noticed a sensor lying on the body of the car beneath the CAI piping. It's not the MAF...it's much smaller, but it comes off the same group of wires as the MAF. Definitely looks like some sort of air temperature sensor (theres a bulb looking thing in it) but I dont see where it went before? I would assume it goes somewhere in the flow of the intake air but I didn't see where it was before hand and there's no threaded bung or whatever to put it in.

Thanks!

It is the IAT sensor. Where it goes depends on what intake you have. I have a JLT and when you install you tap your own hole. Good luck.

yea it's a 2 wire plug. What's strange is like I said, whoever had this before me (JUST bought it) must've either crammed it into one of those sleeves or left it lying in the engine bay...there's no place that it came from. I guess I'll have to be creative.
