Well i got a Dyno Appointment scheduled for Friday morning. The car is still completely un-tuned and its running pig rich. I just wanted to get a baseline reading just so i know. What kinda numbers you guys wanna guess ill pull. After i get done at the dyno i will be getting ready for the track. I got all my rear end done and my slicks are mounted. Hoping to get into the 10's now. Here are some engine specs for the HP/TQ guesses.

408w, Forged Internals, 10.5:1 Compression, AFR 205cc Heads, Vic Jr Intake, QuickFuel750 Carb, Mechanical Roller Cam .620/.620 lift, Roller Rocker 1.6r, 3500 Stall, C6 Tranny, Shorty Headers, 2.5" Exhaust Dumps. Thats about all the specs i can think of for now.

Well wish me luck, i hope i make some BIG numbers, and some LOW times!!!

That pretty close to about what i was thinking. I was guessing 450ish/500ish. It really don't matter what it dynoes at, if I'm going 10's making 200 HP (HAHA) I'm happy with that, I'm not a dyno queen.

Someone didn't read the post...

I would say easy 10s on motor. Our 393/AFR 185 combo should be deep deep 10s on motor now that the suspension is figured out. Went 11.39 @ 90 at half throttle letting off at the top end.

Im with you on the numbers.

When you do take it to the track make sure to get a video. I bet that thing is going to be nasty out the hole.

I got a bunch of YouTube Videos of my other passes iv made, iv only made like 6-7 passes in the car. I hoping to get down into the 1.4-1.5' 60's. I just put the strange 10 way struts on the front to help with some weight transfer. Maybe it will pick the wheels up for a good showing for my cheer crew. lol Here are some of the videos.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ChromedOutDubs

Ill keep everyone updated with the numbers and time tomorrow or Saturday.

Man that thing has come a long ways. It didn't weight transfer much at all in the videos. I can't wait to see was it will do now.

Wellllllllll yesterday was very disappointing at the dyno and at the track.

Dyno

[/U][/B]On the dyno i really dont know understand why the numbers were so low.... He said my big slicks were absorbing some power, if i went with street tires he said i would see highr numbers, the carb was acting up so we busted it apart, and found so much junk and metal in there it was crazy. He also said my quickfuel 750 is crap. Something in the metering blocks are not right, he said he wanted to throw a diff carb on it to see if i would pick up any. He was also tellin me my converter wasnt doing what it was suppose to, i guess its too loose or something because its a cheaper one ($550 i didnt think that was too cheap, lol).

Track

The car will not weight transfer, we cant figure it out... I just put the front 10 way adjustables on it and we jack the front up a bit, and put the back up a bit, the fronts are as loose as they can go. The car just wont squat at all. Anyways first pass out, 18 PSI in the tire, very small burnout, I spun up till half track, scariest ride of my life, i prolly should have lifted way earlier. It pulled a 1.9 - 60' (HORRIBLE) and i think it went 12.1 @ 115. The rear wasnt square because the rear trys to drive to the left and i have to counter steer to the right. We squared the all up as best as we could. We went out again, dropped tire pressure to 14, did huge burnout, and the car 1.7 - 60' ( Still Horrible, the car was doing 1.6 - 60' on et streets) didnt spin as bad, but still did, i clicked 2nd, went to go click 3rd, it was there...... It free reved to about 7500 RPM. Third gear is GONE..... When i was on the line waiting to go, i was on the converter for a while at about 2000 rpm because the guy next to me was dicking around. So we think we welded on stuff together in there. When i manually shift it, it goes 1-2-1. A guy told us that 1 and 3 gear were on the same band or something, so thing is messed up. And to tp it alllllll offf. I took the car down the test lane to see what the tranny was doing got to the end of the road and pulled off the road to do a turnaround, well the car dipped to one side when i pulled into the grass and the fender filleted my new slick.

Im sick of this, this is costing me to much money, im done for a while........

Well its a long post, my bad. Just venting!
