Posting numbers on my ride tomorrow, hopefully. Will post tomorrow or Friday no doubt. Hoping for decent numbers with my mods. Also, Just bought a Spydershaft and its in limbo waiting install. Post dyno graphs and positive mod experiences in this thread. Its a free for all fun thread!!! :flag: :canada:

I'm getting mine dynoed within the next month at MPH in Atlanta. I'm just waiting on the LT's to be installed.

I'm going to have a long high speed drive to get there, so how can I cool off the engine in a hurry once I get there?

I'm not hijacking the thread, just thought it might be relevant.

Hi guys, I forgot to mention I'm having pulleys installed on it before the dyno. Probably wont affect numbers by much but who knows. I'm running it with the 20's which will hurt my numbers, I know. The guy said he would look and see if he can find some 17's to throw on there to get more accurate numbers but I havent heard back on that. I should be posting the final numbers tonight. Thanks all!

Numbers are in! RWHP 297.2 / RWTQ 315. The guy couldnt get a smaller rim to measure the difference but he told me I lost 20 hp with my heavy as all heck 20's. Sorry about that guys I wish he would've been able to do that. Turns out the 93 Octane tune from Brenspeed was spot on and he didnt custom tune it. I know he probably could've got me above 300 but he didnt want to take the time. He's a contractor who has a dynojet. I am hoping to somehow get the graph posted. I will figure it out but it's guys night and I'm drinking with my buddies and getting ready to play Halo 3. I will follow up later. Have a good night

spydershaft not installed yet. i'm still waiting on that. I found a guy who will install the DS and 4.10's for $450. Gonna happen soon:flag:

Cool ...

With the SpyderShaft you should free up a few more parasitc HP and push you well over 300 RWHP.

I got 4.10's, a girdle and a Spydershaft yesterday. The DS is a fine piece of work and well worth the conservative price. That stock shaft is one really heavy POS.

In respect with the question about larger heavier wheels robbing hp. I talked to the dyno tuner about this and he said that the heavier the wheel the worse your numbers will be and that diameter also affects this as well. He showed me a couple dyno graphs to prove this fact although I dont have copies to post. A Ford Lightning pickup with some mods and stock wheels tires dyno'd at 400rwhp. The customer then purchased 20's in chrome like mine and dyno'd at 360 rwhp. He lost 40 hp to the wheels with no changes other than larger heavier wheels. Guess they do make a difference.

I don't see why diameter affects the readings. I can certainly understand the added weight. If you put on a set of lightweight 20s(Steeda has their 20" Ultra-Lite Silver Wheel)and have very similar to stock size tire height, it should be similar readings. Say compared to the factory 18s. Prettynice #s considering the heavy wheels.
One thing to remember is that spyder7724 is putting just under 300 to the rear wheels, but is running 12.0s N/A:jaw: That is one case of getting every available pony to the track:nice:

My wheels arent the same diameter as the stock wheels. They're also chrome and are really heavy. Not like the Steeda ultralight wheels. I wish they were however. I have 20"X10" 295/40/20's and there about a 1/2 " or more larger in diameter. I put a set of 17's from an 01 GT over my wheels to measure this difference and it was considerable considering the series I'm running. I thank you for the compliments on the numbers. I'm hoping that with the Spydershaft DS and the 4.10's I'm gonna install I'll get over 300 on the dyno. Later
