This may be stupid question but gonna ask anyway.......does the rear axle ratio have a effect on a chassis dyno's readings.....meaning if the operator had the wrong axle ratio entered would it make for wrong readings?

Gears dont matter...Its how hard she spins the rollers...

Yeah the only diffrence is in how quick it will take you to reach your Redline on the dyno (or how ever high you want to take it in the RPM's) It will take longer on stock 2.73's then it will w/ 3.55's or 3.73's but you will still ge the same readings.

Gears just change torque at the wheels. A typical dyno measures horsepower, and derives torque.
