My turn... I got my car dynotuned (with SCT 6600) by Apex today... Best run was 249rwhp and 288rwtq. I thought it seemed pretty low for my mods...Ed, the tuner, thought it was normal. Mods are in the sig, note the 18" DD Bullitts...

It was on a Dynojet.

Sounds pretty good actually. You really don't have much in the way of performance mods, T-body and plenum are useless, underdrives are not much better. Get some headers, exhaust, and cams and that will wake your wagon up. Sounds like good numbers to me .

Those are'nt bad numbers at all. You could probably add 5 HP to that number because the 4.10's will drop your numbers down some.

those numbers seem right on. also the plenum and t/b together are not worthless= 5-7 rwhp. i am not a fan of pullies. he does have exhaust already but the headers would really give it some power.

there are alot of guys on here lately claming super high rwhp for the tiny amount of mods they have. i don't know if they are bs ing or what.

ayway your numbers seem right on par where mine were when i had those mods.

Yeah looks about par with everyone else with sim. mods. The tuner guru's I have talked to claim that until you get above 400 HP your wasting money on the TB and plenum. Headers and cams like the above poster says.

Right on--thanks guys. It is probably the 'big numbers' I've seen lately.

I just had gears (given for xmas), subframe connectors, Steeda UDPs and the chip installed/dynotune. Best $1,000 I've spent...

I wasn't going to get UDPs until I understood why the Steedas (not piggyback style) were so much better than most others.

I would go headers, but shorties are my only option in Ca... don't think it'd be worth it.

I hear the 4.10s tend to read lower... in addition, the 18" DD Bullitts probably don't help either.

Now to practice and head for the track... mid 13s (*maybe* mid-low if I really practice) is my goal.

a friend of mine recently put down 259 with similar mods (plenum/TB, pullies, weld-in flows)He also has a CAI, Timing Adjuster, 3.73s, Off-Road ProChamber.......and I think thats it.

with the slight difference in mods, and knowing no 2 dyno's read exactly the same, I can see how there's a 10hp difference. Thats why I think your numbers are accurate.

Have you had your car smogged yet? I am due next year and I have the TB/Plen that is illegal too. You run into any issues? I just ask because I have a friend who has a 95 with just a CAI and they told him to remove it or they wouldn't pass him.

Mine did 230HP with 273TQ on a Mustang Dyno...only I have cams so that is what woke mine up. My mods are similar to yours on my NPI car.

I have the same mods as you except I have no cats. I made the numbers in my sig. You are dead on. It sure feels like more than 250 hp doesn't it?
