Here's my untuned dyno results....they suck. It's being tuned tomorrow, but I'm nowhere near where I should be. Look at my mods. Does anybody have any suggestions on why the numbers are so low? Any advice on tuning or my a/f ratio?

BS.....I made an additional 25 peak power and 40 peak tq on a good SCT dyno tune.....Not including the power in the lower rpm's ....58 more tq by 4100 and 48 more HP by 4300! They need to tune every rpm increment to maximize the tune not just top A/F and timing!

QFT

their are sooo many things you need to adjust for loads and such it is mindboggling.

Ed, its a NON-PI motor... with a LOT less bolt-ons than you.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong graph, your A/F is way lean in the lower rpm band, and still a little lean up top.

I think a tune would help you a lot. You'll make more power richening it up.

you're a/f ratio should be a nice flat 13.0:1. the car is too lean right now. i do think you should be seeing about 15 more hp. i'd hope cams, intake, and exhaust would break 230rwhp even with non-pi heads.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I got the "stage II" cams and springs so you'd think I'd at least break 230. Anyway, the SCT tuner I received is...BLANK so I can't have it tuned. I'm contacting the company that sold it to me (yourperformance) to get software. Looks like it's going to be another week until the tune happens.

If you're running the PI manifold without an adaptor or PI heads then that's the biggest issue right there.

how do you figure? many people have installed PI manifolds using the RTV method, the power difference is negligible, and certainly not worth the $100+ for the plates
