I have a 96 Cobra with a 4.6 4V. I built the engine awhile back and have been having some issues with my spark plugs fouling out. I'm running a Vortech charger at around 10 psi. The car is mainly street drivin. The car had a custom tune when i bought the car but since then i rebiut the engine and everything is basically the same. May have a little lower compression now. Anyways everytime i change the plugs I only get a few hundred miles on the before I start feeling it missing and it gets worst till its just busting up bad. I replaced my coil packs with Accell packs with no change to performance. Can't tell its running rich by sight or smell. Anyone else having a problem like this? I think it must be something in the tune that causing it. Where's a good place to get it retuned in Georgia? Anyone have any other ideals?

have you changed your plug wires? my car did the same thing when I bought it. a new set of plugs, or sanding the plugs would also fix my car for a few hundred miles before it started missing again. after replacing the wires, and plugs the problem was solved. you can also test the wires if you have a multi meter using the ohms setting. placing the positive end at one side, and the negative on the other the resistance should read less then 7000 ohms for every foot of the wire. so if the wire was 2 feet long then it should read less then 14000 ohms of resistance.

I drove 950 miles to let Tim tune my N/A GT...yea N/A. Tim is the only one I trust and EXELLENT customer servce....if only I could get my dyno graph..arrrhhh.lol. Anyways yea the guy knows what the heck he is doing, most knowlegable 4.6 person I have EVER met.
